We are looking for a 2 – 3 year PQE associate to join Dechert’s Securities and Complex Litigation team in our London office. The ideal candidate will have experience in matters that relate to complex commercial litigation, contentious regulatory issues, and commercial arbitration. Team Dechert’s Securities and Complex Litigation team sits under a wider Litigation team. Within the Securities and Complex Litigation team, we represent companies in complex litigation and alternative dispute resolution across a broad range of industries, including consumer products, financial services, investment funds, insurance, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, and telecommunications, media, and technology. Clients represented include global financial institutions, large public and private corporates, sovereign states, sovereign wealth funds and high net worth individuals. We also represent clients in investigatory work, and before administrative tribunals and regulators, as well as in asset recovery. With a long history of successful trials, appeals, devising and implementing global judgment enforcement strategies, and achieving strategic settlements, Dechert is recognised as the go-to firm for some of the most challenging litigation, investigations, arbitrations, and administrative and regulatory proceedings in the world. Key requirements England and Wales qualified lawyer; Experience in English High Court commercial litigation and preferably some experience in commercial arbitration; Experience managing a variety of tasks and working on multiple cases; Very strong academic background, with excellent analytical and communication skills.
