Responsibilities Participate in various corporate transactions, including M&A, debt and equity financings and commercial finance transactions Draft and review transactional documents, including definitive agreements for M&A transactions, financing agreements, commercial agreements and corporate governance documents Conduct due diligence and manage transaction closings Provide legal counsel on corporate structuring, governance, and compliance matters Manage day-to-day client relationships and communication Qualifications Admitted to the California Bar Strong academic performance at a top-ranked law school 2-5 years of experience in a transactional practice area with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance or general corporate matters Excellent writing skills Attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment If you are interested in applying your talents to interesting and challenging transactions and have the qualifications listed above, we would like to hear from you. Salaries for associate attorneys are based on years of experience. The salary range for the levels of experience referenced herein is $150,000 – $172,500. Boutin Jones has a hybrid remote work policy that permits attorneys to work remotely up to two days per week in most circumstances.
