Large RI Workers’ Compensation practice seeking associate to handle litigation-intensive case load. Position would involve regular attendance at Rhode Island Workers’ Compensation Court and conducting depositions, as necessary, under the supervision of current partners and associates. Area of Concentration: Workers’ Compensation Requirements / Qualifications: Admission to the Rhode Island State Bar, or sufficient UBE score to be admitted to the jurisdictions. 0 to 2 years of experience. Moot Court experience preferred, but not required. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Strong academic record. The ideal candidate would enjoy regular court appearances/argument at RI WCC. Our partners are seasoned trial attorneys who are excited to share their litigation knowledge and train newer associates. This position will provide excellent exposure to a recently barred attorney interested in civil litigation and deposition practice. The new associate can expect to practice exclusively at the Rhode Island Workers’ Compensation Court. Salary: $100K – $110K (Candidates possessing more than 2 years of Workers’ Compensation experience will also be considered; salary commensurate with experience).
