The Practice: Banking and Finance The Fund Finance team in London act for lenders, borrowers and financial institutions on wide-ranging fund financings transactions in Europe and also supporting our global fund finance team, with associates also typically available to assist on other loan product transactions, including acquisition and leveraged finance transactions. England and Wales Qualified – 1-4pqe The PQE level/s identified here is indicative only. Mayer Brown would welcome applicants regardless of PQE who believe they meet the requirements of the role outlined in the job description and wish to apply for the position Experience, skills and personal attributes: Experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating documentation; Prior experience in Fund Finance is essential; Experience from a highly ranked practice or team; Working as part of a team and taking an active part in sharing knowledge and experience with the team; Excellent people skills and a good, clear communication style; There are regular opportunities for secondments with clients; Engaging with internal and external counsel in London and in overseas jurisdictions; Ability to work effectively within an established, close-knit team; Be a self-starter, and be willing to be challenged by taking on work outside their comfort zone Demonstrate ability to confidently interact with clients and develop business pro-actively; A commercial and pragmatic outlook; Experience in advising on cross border matters will be helpful; Have attained degree certificate(s) from a reputed institution, achieving a minimum grade of 2:1 or equivalent.
