The role reports to the General Counsel, and is a true tech generalist position in a successful, early stage startup. You’ll have broad scope and opportunity to shape the product and processes that will help the company scale its business around the globe. They will have an appreciation for and understanding of different conditions in different international jurisdictions like China, Brazil, and the Middle East. <br> </div> <div></div> <br> <div> The best of the best will be able to contribute outside of their core areas of expertise, for example, by tackling the legal complexities of managing labor forces and consumer interests around the world. <br> </div> <div></div> <br> <div> Candidates must have a J.D. from a top school and be a member of the California Bar in good standing or registered in-house. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
