Research, administer, and enforce the Department's statutory authority and obligations and perform related work as assigned. Independently serve as a subject matter expert, represent the Department at administrative hearings, and, as appropriate, work with State Attorney General offices to prepare or try cases going to court. Draft and negotiate contracts on behalf of the Department.
