Seyfarth Shaw LLP is seeking a patent prosecution associate attorney for its Chicago office. Ideal candidates will have 2 - 3 years of patent prosecution experience, with a preferred degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Material Science. Candidates are expected to prosecute patent applications, prepare patent non-infringement and invalidity analyses, and conduct patent due diligence studies. Excellent academic credentials, experience in a law firm or similar environment and superior writing, communication and problem-solving skills are required. Applicants must be registered to practice before the USPTO.
