Seyfarth Shaw LLP is seeking several hard-working, diligent, and experienced litigation attorneys to join our Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI) team within the Labor & Employment Department. Candidates should have 3+ years of employment litigation experience and be able to deliver high quality work and assist with driving matters toward favorable outcomes. Candidates should also be excited to work in a collaborative team environment. This role is full-time yet candidates are not expected to perform non-billable work, which allows for a predictable schedule that encourages healthy integration of work responsibilities and personal activities. This position is located remotely in California. The EPLI team consists of a core group of attorneys within Seyfarth who analyze claims, draft responsive pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses, and assist on the Firm’s insured litigation. This group is designed for attorneys who want to hone their litigation skills while working on exciting matters within an elite labor and employment practice. The team is expanding, and we are excited to invite more attorneys to experience this unique opportunity. Among other things, successful candidates should have familiarity with federal and state court practice, and have experience drafting key litigation documents in routine employment litigation, including, but not limited to, responsive pleadings, written discovery requests and responses, discovery motions, and motions for summary judgment and/or adjudication.
