Job Description DLA Piper is seeking a mid-level finance associate to work in its Project & Energy group, with a focus on energy transition financing matters. These positions could be located in any of our US offices. We are looking for candidates with experience handling transactions in the area of financing and M&A of energy transition projects and companies, with proven experience in tax equity and other renewable energy tax credit monetization matters. DLA Piper and our lawyers are internationally recognized for our work in the Projects & Energy sectors, including novel financing deals in the energy transition space. Applicants should have a strong academic credentials from nationally recognized schools and must be admitted to practice in the jurisdiction in which you are applying. Requirements Basic Qualifications: 4-6 years of relevant experience Licensed to practice in the jurisdiction in which you are applying Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Work Environment Hybrid with some in-office expectations Pay Transparency In accordance with California, New York City, Washington, D.C. and Washington State Pay Transparency Laws, the pay rate for this position, if hired to work in California, New York City, Washington, D.C. or Washington State is $310,000 - $390,000. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience, and overall qualifications.
