Job Title: Associate (0-2 PQE) Team: Marine Location: Singapore Role Kennedys Legal Solutions is looking for an Associate with 0-2 years’ shipping and trade experience to join its Marine team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling dry shipping and international trade disputes in international arbitration and in litigation, preferably with experience in the Far East. Asian language skills would be advantageous. The successful Associate will have experience in: Handling a high number of varied cases. Working to tight deadlines and as part of a team. Building relationships with clients. Managing and handling low value cases with minimal supervision. The successful Associate will have the following skills: Good academics Excellent written and oral communication, with strong negotiation and drafting abilities. Excellent organisational skills Team player Eagerness to be involved in Business Development We are open to newly-qualified lawyers. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious lawyer who is keen to work on an array of challenging cases in a collegiate and highly regarded team within a fast growing international law firm and marine team.
