Litigation Partner or Senior Counsel

Job Description: The Position Michael Best & Friedrich LLP is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Partner or Senior Counsel to help grow our expanding Wilmington, NC office. The candidate must be a senior level attorney with a minimum of ten (10) years of significant civil and/or commercial litigation experience. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter capable of managing an active litigation case load and experienced in drafting and preparing pleadings, briefs, motions, and other litigation documents; managing discovery, including taking/presenting witnesses for deposition, oral argument, and trial preparation; conducting legal research, analysis and writing; and will possess excellent oral advocacy, communication, and writing skills. Candidate must have a reasonable book of portable litigation business. Candidate is also expected to help grow our litigation presence in North Carolina and be an active networker in the community and various organizations. This position is available in our Wilmington, NC office.
