The Role Department: Energy, Marine and Natural Resources Location: London / Guildford Role: Associate & Senior Associate, Permanent The Team We specialise in dispute resolution and international arbitration within Trade, Commodities and Shipping and have the largest shipping practice in the world. Our clients include international energy companies, offshore service contractors, engineering and infrastructure companies and consultants, insurance companies, charterers, shipbuilders and clients across the broader trade and commodities sector. Essential Skills & Experience We currently have opportunities for associates who hold disputes experience within logistics, marine, shipping, cargo recovery, transportation of goods, and trade and commodities. The successful candidate will need to hold a proven track record of managing disputes across either of the highlighted areas. Ability to effectively manage and run case load across various clients, meeting service level agreements and data metrics. Building and maintaining client relationships, taking responsibility for business growth and development. Responsible for maintaining up to date on industry knowledge and sharing with peers where relevant. Contractual and commercial dispute resolution experience is a requirement. Ideally within shipping disputes, international arbitration, marine coverage and cargo disputes or across trade & commodities.
