VIZIO is seeking a Sr. Privacy Law Analyst to join its Privacy team. This is an amazing opportunity to join an award-winning Legal department, play a key role in supporting the company’s rapid growth, and work with experienced attorneys in the developing area of data privacy law.

</div>What You Will Do:
<ul>
<li>Monitor, research and interpret the various data privacy laws, regulations, contractual obligations and industry best practices relating to data privacy and our product compliance obligations.</li>
<li> Partner with commercial counsel and procurement to provide privacy subject-matter support for commercial agreements and vendor management.</li>
<li> Enhance the existing privacy program, policies, procedures and guidelines for data privacy and our product compliance obligations to continually improve our compliance posture.</li>
<li> Produce and/or update data maps</li>
<li> Vendor privacy assessment reviews</li>
<li> Coordinate internal assessments to test privacy and security controls within the company.</li>
<li> Work with business groups to maintain data governance documentation.</li>
<li> Carry out privacy impact assessments and other product compliance assessments consistent with our privacy program and other compliance procedures and guidelines.</li>
<li> Respond to consumer requests for access, correction, or deletion.</li>
<li> Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul> About You:
<p> This is for a non-attorney analyst role that will work closely with the supervision of company attorneys. </p>
<p>The successful candidate will qualify under one of the following: </p>
<ul>
<ul>
<li>(A) a Juris Doctorate degree from a U.S. accredited law school (bar passage preferred); or</li>
<li> (B) at least 2 years of prior professional experience in data privacy, online advertising or marketing, regulatory compliance, or commercial or corporate transactions.</li>
</ul>
</ul>

In addition, the successful candidate will have the following qualifications.
</div>
<ul>
<li> Demonstrated interest in developing expertise in data privacy, including holding privacy certifications (CIPP, CIPT, or CIPM certifications from IAPP preferred).</li>
<li> Experience working for technology companies, in-house privacy teams, law firms, or accounting or consulting firms.</li>
<li> Experience working in large-scale cross-functional programs.</li>
<li> Experience with organizing, coordinating, multi-tasking, and process-improvements in a program.</li>
<li> Experience with OneTrust</li>

<b><br> For California-based employment:</b> The minimum pay for this position is $49.04/hour. The maximum pay for this position $63.46/hour. In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
