We offer solutions for consumers, employers, health plans, and anyone else who shares our desire to provide affordable prescriptions to all Americans. </div> <div></div> <div> <br> The Lead Counsel, Healthcare Regulatory will focus on compliance and regulatory issues impacting GoodRx and its affiliates and will be an integral part of an impactful team. </div> <div></div> <div> <br> The Lead Counsel, Healthcare Regulatory will own important processes related to product and contracting and provide timely review and guidance from a regulatory perspective. You will help assess and provide guidance from a healthcare regulatory standpoint for new products and features in the direct-to-consumer and healthcare space from early stages of development through launch. You will review and provide feedback on healthcare contracting related issues, including review of payment arrangements for compliance with applicable laws. You will also be in charge of reviewing, updating and architecting training and compliance programs related to compliance with healthcare laws and regulations </div> <div></div> <div> <br> You will be expected to stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations, including guidance in the area of HIPAA compliance, federal and state anti-kickback laws, and healthcare marketing, to proactively architect compliance programs to make sure our products and contractual arrangements are compliant with applicable laws. </div> <div></div> <div> <br> You will have the opportunity to pitch in on other matters as needed as part of a fast-moving, lean, efficient legal organization. </div> <div></div> <div> <br> The Lead Counsel, Healthcare Regulatory will report to the GoodRx’s General Counsel and will be based out of GoodRx’s Santa Monica, CA headquarters. </div> </div> <div> <div> <h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Responsibilities</b></h3> <ul> <ul> <li> Advise on various federal and state health regulatory issues, including regulations related to federal and state anti-kickback and referral prohibitions, HIPAA, pharmacy law, telemedicine, and healthcare advertising restrictions</li> <li> Negotiating, drafting, evaluating and advising on contractual arrangements with entities in the healthcare space, including healthcare providers, pharmacies, drug manufacturers, and others</li> <li> Update, provide and architect guidelines, training and compliance program in the areas of healthcare regulatory compliance, such as federal and state anti-kickback laws, pharmacy law, and HIPAA</li> <li> Develop and routinely update SOPs and working instructions to facilitate an efficient and effective review process</li> <li> Work cross-functionally with the marketing and product teams</li> </ul> </ul> </div> </div> <div> <div> <h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Skills &amp; Qualifications</b></h3> <ul> <ul> <li> You are an attorney with a JD, admission to a state bar, and at least 5-6 years of relevant in-house or law firm experience in the healthcare compliance space</li> <li> You are well-versed with healthcare laws, specifically those related to anti-kickback laws and HIPAA</li> <li> You are familiar with the pharmaceutical industry, including having experience working with and contracting with manufacturers, PBMs, and pharmacies</li> <li> You are comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-growth environment, and handling tasks and answering questions that are unfamiliar to you</li> <li> Willingness to learn new subject matters quickly and take on and drive projects from start to finish</li> </ul> </ul> </div> </div> <div> <div> <h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Bonus Points</b></h3> <ul> <ul> <li> You have experience with digital and direct-to-consumer companies and advertising, and familiarity with healthcare advertising regulations</li> </ul> </ul> </div> </div> <div> <div> Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, and education or certifications. If we extend an offer for employment, we will consider all individual qualifications. Below are our salary ranges for this position based on office location: <br> </div> <div></div> <br> <div> San Francisco Office: $218,000 - $350,000 </div> <div> New York Office: $200,000 - $321,000 </div> <div> Santa Monica Office: $182,000 - $292,000 </div> <div></div> <div> <br> GoodRx also offers additional compensation programs such as annual cash bonuses and annual equity grants for most positions as well as generous benefits.
