King & Spalding’s Real Estate Finance Group seeks a highly qualified attorney with 7+ of experience in commercial real estate finance transactions to join our New York office. The qualified candidate is well-versed in title, survey, zoning, and lease review, can independently analyze complex real estate and corporate due diligence, and has proficiency in maintaining checklists and drafting basic real estate documents. This position requires a proven ability to manage the diligence portion of transactions with minimal supervision, including drafting and negotiating estoppels and SNDAs. Additional responsibilities include supervising junior associates and paralegals in the review of title insurance commitments and property surveys (including addressing reciprocal easement agreements and master declarations with appropriate estoppel confirmations), and analyzing property-level due diligence, such as purchase and sale agreements, leases, zoning reports, franchise agreements, and construction contracts.
