Patterson Belknap is seeking a fourth - sixth year associate to join its Real Estate practice. The ideal candidate will have sophisticated commercial real estate experience acquired while practicing at a New York City law firm with a focus on "dirt law" (leasing, conveyancing, design/construction/development, as opposed to a capital markets or finance background). Candidates must have a strong academic record and possess a J.D. from an accredited law school as well as be admitted and in good standing to practice in New York. We are open to considering a reduced hours schedule for the right candidate. The expected salary range for this position is $310,000 - $390,000 per year, pro-rated for a reduced hours schedule, if applicable, plus competitive benefits and bonus eligibility. Associate base compensation at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler is typically lock-step, based on experience.
