<br> Reporting to the General Counsel, North America, the Counsel will be a key member of the North America Legal Team and will provide legal support for the company’s established and growing utility-scale solar energy and energy storage pipeline in the U.S. and Canada. The role will focus on M&A and project finance transactions but will also include a variety of other matters. The ideal candidate will be a strong technical attorney and a pragmatic businessperson.

<li><br> Provide legal support for the company’s M&A and project finance activities, including drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, partnership agreements, and credit agreements, and supporting due diligence efforts. </li>
<li>Assist with various other project development matters, including tax abatement efforts, interconnection agreements, permitting matters, procurement agreements, service agreements, and non-disclosure agreements. </li>
<li>Support communications with outside counsels, lenders, and investors. </li>
<li>Assist with various corporate and governance matters.</li>

<li> U.S.-credentialed law degree from a top-tier ABA accredited law school</li>
<li> 3-5 years of substantial relevant experience within a top-tier law firm and/or corporate legal department (candidates with more experience will also be considered and the role may be adjusted for seniority for the right candidate)</li>
<li> Experience working specifically on utility-scale solar energy and/or energy storage projects preferred but not required</li>
