If you enjoy a challenge as much as you value a committed workplace, we could be the next step in your rising career.</p> <br> <p></p> <p></p> <p><b>Job Title: </b>Contracts Attorney</p> <p><b> Location: </b>Hybrid (Palo Alto, CA)</p> <p><b> Summary: </b></p> <p>The Contracts Attorney plays a key role on Hyperfine's Legal Team and is responsible for drafting, editing and negotiating contracts between internal stakeholders and external entities or entities supported by their own legal staff. In this role, you will work with all aspects of the organization with a focus on sales, grants and research agreements. Other development and administrative responsibilities will also fall within this position's realm. The Contracts Attorney has the ability to operate independently and in conjunction with other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for the organization.</p> <p><b> Responsibilities:</b></p> <ul> <li>Review contract intake forms and determine the type of contract needed with each request.</li> <li>Drafting original agreements or modify an existing template.</li> <li>Prioritize contract requests and your own work flow to meet corporate and department objectives.</li> <li>Keeping up with current changes on all relevant areas of law related to contracting and contributing to the enhancement of the knowledge base of the company's legal function</li> <li>Provide support to Company's corporate compliance programs and initiatives.</li> </ul> <p><b>Knowledge &amp; Skill:</b></p> <ul> <li>Ability to maintain relationships and work effectively across all levels of the organization</li> <li>Strong skill with technology and evaluation and implementation of programs.</li> <li>Highly detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and complete mission critical tasks with minimal oversight.</li> <li>Experience with MS Office applications required.</li> <li>Experience with IronClad, Westlaw and electronic signature software a plus.</li> </ul> <p><b>Education/Experience Required:</b></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree, JD and member of at least one state bar in good standing.</li> <li>10 or more years of relevant experience in contract drafting, negotiations and management.</li> <li>Medical device, life sciences, pharmaceutical industry, and/or health care experience.</li> <li>Experience in handling corporate filings to government agencies a plus.</li> </ul> <p><b>Physical Demands:</b></p> <ul> <li>This is a hybrid role with regular presence at Hyperfine's facility in Palo Alto, CA.</li> <li>Able to travel when required, and operate tools of the trade (company issued laptop, correspond with team members on your cell phone, etc.)</li> <li>Available nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.</li> </ul> <br> <p></p> <p></p> <p><b>Applicant Privacy Notice</b></p> <p><b> Scope and Overview</b></p> <p> This Applicant Privacy Notice describes how and when Hyperfine, Inc. collects, uses, shares, and updates personal information from individuals who wish to be considered for employment.</p> <p><b> Collection and Use of Personal Information</b></p> <p> For purposes of this Applicant Privacy Notice, personal information means any information that identifies or can be used to identify an individual.
