You will advise our People team and other business partners in all areas of employment law, and proactively manage potential employment-related risks. You will get to work on interesting and novel issues that arise from the intersection of healthcare, technology, and e-commerce.</p> <h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b> You Will:</b></h3> <ul> <li>Partner with our People team and business leaders to provide responsive and practical advice on labor and employment-related matters</li> <li>Provide subject matter expertise and training on recruiting, hiring, performance management, compensation and benefits, leaves of absence, internal investigations, terminations, and HR best practices</li> <li>Assess and advise Legal department leadership on potential employment-related risks and think creatively about mitigation strategies</li> <li>Proactively review employment policies to ensure legal compliance and consistency with best practices</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and maintain employment compliance with state and federal employment laws</li> <li>Stay up to date on relevant state and federal employment laws</li> </ul> <h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>You Have:</b></h3> <ul> <li>Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school</li> <li>5+ years of employment law experience practicing at a law firm and/or in-house</li> <li>Active bar membership in any US state</li> <li>Deep knowledge of US and California employment laws</li> <li>Strong record of providing business-focused advice and creatively identifying solutions</li> <li>Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with business partners</li> <li>Team-oriented mindset and positive attitude</li> <li>Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment</li> <li>Strong time management, project prioritization, and management skills</li> </ul> <br> <p></p> <h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b> Our Benefits (there are more but here are some highlights):</b></h3> <ul> <li>Competitive salary &amp; equity compensation for full-time roles</li> <li>Unlimited PTO, company holidays, and quarterly mental health days</li> <li>Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental &amp; vision, and parental leave</li> <li>Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP)</li> <li>Employee discounts on hims &amp; hers &amp; Apostrophe online products</li> <li>401k benefits with employer matching contribution</li> <li>Offsite team retreats</li> </ul> <br> <p></p> <p><i> #LI-Remote</i></p> <p></p> <div> <div> <br> Outlined below is a reasonable estimate of H&amp;H’s compensation range for this role. <br> <br> H&amp;H also offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSU’s) so that H&amp;H employees own a piece of our company. <br> <br> The actual amount will take into account a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and location. <br> <br> Consult with your Recruiter during any potential screening to determine a more targeted range based on the job-related factors.
