The First Party Property Group is seeking an attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience to join the Fort Lauderdale office. This highly-sophisticated practice includes both commercial and residential claims litigated in Federal and State courts throughout the state of Florida. The practice also includes pre-suit coverage analysis and participation in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms such as mediation, arbitration, and appraisal. Responsibilities Job Requirements/Specifications: At least 3-5 years of experience in some or all of the following substantive areas: Representation of first party claims and lawsuits that involve catastrophic losses. Experience in managing a litigation caseload. Experience drafting legal documents, such as briefs, motions and discovery requests. Experience conducting research on legal issues associated with the case. Excellent analytical and writing skills. Strong communication skills, including communicating with clients, team and partners and providing timely reporting and appearing in court. Must be admitted to practice in the state in which you are applying. The annual billable requirement for this position is 1950-hours. Qualifications #LI-Onsite #LI-FL1
