Labor & Employment Attorney – National Client Service Center

BakerHostetler has an opening for a Labor & Employment Attorney to join its National Client Service Center (NCSC). This is a full-time position that is not on partnership track. The candidate will work alongside attorneys across 17 offices handling a wide variety of labor and employment administrative (EEOC, NLRB, etc.) and court litigation tasks, advice and counsel, investigations, policy drafting, traditional labor, and more. The annual hours expectation for this position is 1750 hours. Requirements: • J.D. and Ohio bar admission required. Other bar admissions, such as California and New York, preferred but not required. • At least 1 year of Labor & Employment law experience. • Superior attention to detail. • Must be able to work independently and within a team environment. • Communicate clearly and precisely with clients and other team members. • Persuasive writing and fact investigation experience preferred. As a non-partnership track position, this role has a lower hours requirement, a more predictable schedule, and is ideal for someone who is seeking to perform sophisticated work at a national firm without expectations for business development.
