Job Description
<p><br> Jack Link’s is looking for another lawyer! We are growing our team and are looking for a fun, high-energy attorney with an interest in engaging in a breadth of legal areas and a passion for creative legal problem solving. As Corporate Counsel, you will partner closely with our awesome business leaders and will have the opportunity to gain exposure to exciting areas of our business. We are a fast-paced company looking for an exceptional lawyer who is down-to-earth and who has a great sense of humor. We make real products and need real people!</p>
<p> The position will report to the General Counsel and will lead cross-functional teams with responsibility in various areas, including labor and employment, marketing, compliance, commercial contracts, and international law. This position will have broad exposure to the business and will generally support the company’s fast-paced growth by engaging with Marketing, HR, and Sales teams to facilitate the company’s ongoing success.</p>
<p> We are looking for a team player and someone looking to make an immediate impact, who loves to translate legal concepts into practical, business-oriented solutions.</p>
<p><b> Principal Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li> Provide general support to the Sales and Marketing teams, leveraging your experience to tackle ad hoc legal issues of great importance to the company</li>
<li> Provide labor and employment advice and services to business leaders and HR</li>
<li> Champion employment related documents, policies, and processes</li>
<li> Manage various litigation matters involving the company, including employment and commercial disputes</li>
<li> Provide strategic direction and management of company compliance issues</li>
<li> Assist in corporate governance issues and corporate policy development</li>
<li> Assist in managing the Company’s brand portfolio and enforcement activities</li>
<li> Manage outside counsel, including international counsel, as required</li>

Qualifications
<p><b><br> Education And Experience Requirements</b></p>
<ul>
<li> Law degree from a competitive, accredited university</li>
<li> 3-8 years in a law firm or corporate legal environment</li>
<li> Previous in-house or Am Law 100 law firm experience strongly preferred</li>
<li> An interest in organization building, legal process development, and corporate strategy</li>
</ul>
