Position: Government Contracts Associate (Attorney) Office: Washington, DC Experience: 2-4 years Ideal Candidate: Morrison & Foerster’s Government Contracts + Public Procurement Practice Group represents clients in a wide array of industries and with all types of government contracts and public procurement matters, including bid protests and other contract-related litigation, contract negotiations, investigations, compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, technology licensing, cybersecurity, and government contract aspects of M&A transactions. We have a need for a Government Contracts Associate in the Washington, DC office. The individual will have the opportunity to join a vibrant and growing practice and participate in all aspects of the government contracts practice as well as to take on significant responsibility and work directly with clients and partners. · The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of government contracts experience in matters and a mix of litigation and transactional experience. · Outstanding writing and analytical skills and top academic credentials are essential. · Bar admission in District of Columbia or the ability to waive into the District of Columbia bar is required. Where required by law, salary ranges are stated below. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, health/welfare benefits (including parental, adoption, and fertility benefits), flexible time off, and paid holidays. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: market data and ranges; an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience (including class year); and, certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.
