Associate with 2 to 4 years of labor and employment defense experience to join expanding national labor and employment practice. Employment counseling and litigation experience (before federal & state courts and government agencies) is required, together with excellent legal research, writing and analytical skills. The ideal candidate should have experience with counseling employers regarding labor and employment law issues, conducting witness interviews and investigations, drafting position statements, preparing employee handbooks and policies, drafting employment agreements and separation agreements, and supporting employment-related litigation. This position can be located in any of the Firm’s Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Tampa or West Palm Beach offices. Must possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school and be a member of The Florida Bar. May work in a hybrid arrangement.
