Associate/Solicitor - NQ-3 PQE - Local Authority, Police and Emergency Services Team - Manchester We are recruiting an NQ Solicitor with up to 3 years PQE to join our Local Authority, Police and Emergency Services team in our Manchester office to assist with Employers Liability and Public Liability claims. Key Responsibilities Acting and assisting on Employers Liability and Public Liability claims on behalf of leading Insurers, public authorities and police forces. Handling own case load and assisting others with Fast Track and Multi-track work, including complex personal injury claims and civil actions against public authorities or bodies. Reporting to, liaising with and meeting clients with a high level of professionalism. Drafting pleadings. Preparing instructions to counsel and experts and attending and advising in conference. Conducting research and keeping up to date with legal and industry practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Adhoc tasks as required. Experience and Skills Required Completed the LPC or equivalent. An undergraduate law degree or equivalent (minimum 2:1 required). Previous experience within personal injury litigation and/or local authority and public liability law. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently by managing time in a fast pace environment. A Professional manner with the ability to build relationship internally and externally.
