Full-time state benefits available. The position allows for experience in a variety of practice areas including employment, contracts, section 1983 defense, APA claims and constitutional questions.</p> </div> <div> <b>Qualifications / Requirements</b> </div> <div> <p>REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from an ABA accredited law school and a license to practice law in Nebraska, or clear ability to be licensed in Nebraska by motion; Minimum at least one year of experience in a private law firm or government agency or at least one year as a judicial clerk. Excellent legal writing skills and demonstrated work ethic.<br> <br> PREFERRED: Three or more years of civil litigation, appellate advocacy or criminal prosecution experience. Demonstrated subject matter expertise in the relevant position. Judicial clerkship experience.<br> <br> OTHER: Some travel required. A criminal history and abuse background check will be conducted prior to an offer of employment.
