Job Description: Williams Mullen is seeking an ambitious Intellectual Property Litigation attorney with at least 4 years’ experience to join our dynamic Intellectual Property team in our Raleigh, NC office. Job Requirements: Ideal candidate should have at least 4 years’ experience with intellectual property and trademark litigation, including acquisition and enforcement of trademarks and copyrights, trademark portfolio management, prosecuting trademark applications, intellectual property licensing, and other transactional matters. Experience with intellectual property disputes, including in state and federal courts, before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and before arbitral panels in domain dispute resolution proceedings is necessary. Software licensing and e-commerce is highly desired. A successful candidate will demonstrate aptitude to collaborate and execute effective IP litigation strategies; strong negotiation skills. Must be meticulous with details, be able to work under pressure with multiple deadlines and work effectively as part of a team while also being able to assume individual responsibility for client matters. Possess a drive for excellence and willingness to take initiative to solve problems. Strong writing credentials and excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are required. Candidates must be currently licensed in North Carolina or licensed in another state with a UBE score that qualifies in North Carolina for comity, or otherwise be eligible to waive in.
