Faegre Drinker is actively recruiting an associate to join the Corporate practice group in any of our offices located in the United States. *Candidates must list the office in which they wish to be considered for in the requested cover letter. We are seeking candidates with three to six years of experience in corporate law, with particular experience in mergers & acquisitions and other general corporate and commercial matters. Candidates with a specific expertise in strategic transactions (including, mergers and acquisitions, investments and joint ventures), as well as general corporate and corporate governance experience. The candidate must have experience leading due diligence teams, managing specialists and drafting transaction documents. The successful candidate also will have excellent writing skills, superior academics, and the ability to manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision. Faegre Drinker’s Corporate Practice Group provides a full range of services to public and private companies, private equity funds and financial institutions. The anticipated initial annual salary range for someone who is hired into this position is $165,000 - $305,000. Actual initial salary may be above or below the above-identified range and will be based on the relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors, including the location of where the position is filled and consistent with applicable law. The initial salary range listed above is just one component of Faegre Drinker’s total compensation and benefits package for attorneys, which includes, but is not limited to, productivity and discretionary bonuses; life, health, accident and disability insurance; and a 401(k) plan.
