The Fort Myers office has an immediate need for a litigation associate with 2-5 years of experience of defense-side complex commercial litigation. Candidates must have a solid work history in Florida, be admitted to the FL bar, and be admitted (or be eligible for admission) to the Florida Federal Courts. Candidates should have strong academic credentials, and a solid working knowledge of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence. We are looking for an excellent legal writer who has experience researching and drafting complex motions and briefs, and who wants to be part of a litigation team of attorneys and paralegals led by Board Certified litigators and repeat members of Florida’s Super Lawyers. This position requires an enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity for complex legal issues, and precise writing, analytical, and research skills. We are looking for someone with a proactive approach to cases regarding strategy and deadlines, and strong organizational and prioritization skills.
