Reed Smith’s Managed Care Team is looking to hire a CA junior to mid-level (2nd to 5th Year) Associate. This industry focused team represents the leading managed care companies throughout the United States in a wide range of cutting-edge matters including (among others) litigation, class actions, compliance, regulatory work, false claims act cases, government programs, and governmental investigations. Candidates should have 2-3 years of law firm or relevant in-house experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration, excellent academic credentials and strong writing, research, analytical and verbal communication skills. Managed care or health care experience is required. Candidates must have experience handling multiple cases and/or managing regulatory or compliance matters, and ability to serve as the point person on litigation and/or counseling, including coordinating with other associates and staff and acting as client contact. Significant case management and/or client counseling experience preferred. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing of the California State Bar required. $235,000 - $365,000. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of Reed Smith’s pay range for this position. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
