Level Experienced Job Location New York Office of Norris McLaughlin PA - New York, NY Position Type Full Time Salary Range $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 Salary/year Job Category Legal Admin Responsibilities: Monitor electronic case files Prepare pleadings Prepare Notices and rent demands Review and interpret rent ledgers and stipulation terms Order warrants E-filing via NY State Courts E-Filing (NYSCEF) Communicate with clients regarding arrears statements Organize electronic files Track residential and commercial landlord tenant proceedings Qualifications: Minimum 5 years’ paralegal experience required in a landlord-tenant firm. Must be a Notary Public Self-starter; able to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent prioritization and time management skills to meet strict deadlines. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to multi-task with flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced work environment Strong client-first work ethic. Attention to detail. Bachelor’s Degree and Paralegal Certification preferred; equivalent experience considered.
