McDonald Hopkins is looking for a Member level attorney to join its national healthcare practice remotely, or in our Baltimore, Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, or West Palm Beach office. Our Healthcare Practice Group serves many sectors of the healthcare industry and works closely with other practices of the Firm to meet the needs of healthcare clients. The ideal candidate will have regulatory experience, a desire to join and contribute to a national team, and possess a minimum of 8 years of experience. Relevant experience will include the following: Provide legal counsel to healthcare providers on a wide range of issues, including regulatory compliance, fraud and abuse, licensing, reimbursement, and transactional matters. Draft and negotiate professional service, joint venture, business associate, and other healthcare related agreements. Serve on healthcare M&A deal teams, including assistance with due diligence, regulatory review, and drafting of transaction documents. Develop and implement corporate compliance and HIPAA compliance programs for healthcare providers. Candidates must be self-starters and have some portable book of business.
