LEGAL COUNSEL – SALES TAX SECTION Department of Revenue Location: Jefferson City, Missouri Annual Salary - $60,000 (Higher salary/position may be available based on prior experience) DOR’s Vision: To provide every customer the best experience every time HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION: The Missouri Department of Revenue has an immediate opening for an attorney in the General Counsel’s Office Sales Tax Section. The attorney will represent the Director of Revenue before the Administrative Hearing Commission, provide legal guidance, draft regulations and legal opinions, and engage in various other legal duties as assigned. This is an excellent opportunity to gain immediate litigation experience as well as learn a complex area of law. This position affords the opportunity for experience with a number of tax types, professional career development, and valuable training and mentoring. The Missouri Department of Revenue is a Public Service Loan Forgiveness qualifying employer.
