We are looking for a "team player" individual with 6 or 7 years’ relevant post qualification (as a solicitor) experience in the London market (or top tier experience in a similar common law jurisdiction), although those with less or more relevant experience will be considered on their merits. They will have strong experience in leverage finance and acquisition finance (especially PE related). Real estate finance experience would place the candidate at an advantage. They must possess the skills to take on a high degree of responsibility – leading from the front and being keen to take control of a transaction and lead junior team members in a collegiate and appreciative manner. Work loads will be challenging and the candidate will be expected to embrace this and to look for opportunities to promote the development and profile of the practice internally and externally. The ability to gain the trust of the client such that the client is confident in approaching the candidate direct is key. A strong academic record is a sine qua non.
