The New York Office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP seeks a Real Estate Associate with 5-9 years of general real estate experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in some or all of the following: (i) drafting and negotiation of documents in connection with the disposition, acquisition and financing of commercial and multi-family property (ii) negotiating and drafting office, industrial and/or retail space leases whether for landlords or tenants, (iii) real estate financing transactions, whether for borrowers or lenders, and (iv) title, survey and due diligence matters. Experience with general commercial financing and bond financing would be beneficial, but is not required. Exposure to management and brokerage agreements and related commercial real estate documentation is a plus. Candidates should be interested in a broad exposure to commercial real estate matters. Excellent academic credentials, analytical skills and verbal and written communication skills required.
