Investigations Counsel

Edelson PC is seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy Investigations Counsel to join our growing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work independently or with our in-house computer forensic engineers to analyze potential cases, draft complaints, and support our litigation teams. Responsibilities: Analyzing potential cases and identifying key legal issues and strategies Drafting complaints and other legal documents for filing in court Collaborating with in-house computer forensic engineers to gather and analyze technical evidence in support of cases Assisting with the management and coordination of discovery and other pre-trial litigation activities Providing legal research and analysis to support the firm’s litigation efforts Salary Range: $170,000-$225,000 Candidates should have the following: A JD degree and admission to a state bar Strong research and writing skills, with experience drafting legal documents and pleadings The ability to think creatively and strategically to identify and pursue new case opportunities A strong understanding of technology and the ability to work with computer forensic engineers to gather and analyze technical evidence The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously A passion for consumer protection and social justice issues
