Ideal candidates will have 3 to 6 years of litigation experience and be a former federal judicial law clerk. Candidates must have excellent academic and professional credentials, superior research and writing ability, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication skills. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the Virginia bar. Clerkship experience is strongly preferred. Troutman Pepper’s Consumer Financial Services practice focuses on a wide range of issues involving consumer finance and privacy laws, including bank and non-bank consumer lenders, credit reporting, background screening, fair housing, debt collection, credit repair, auto finance, mortgage lending and servicing, online lending and payment processing.
