Multiple Offices- Senior eDiscovery Counsel

Winston & Strawn is seeking a Senior eDiscovery Counsel to support high-stakes litigation and help drive the growth of its AI governance practice. The role involves advising on complex discovery issues, drafting briefs, negotiating protocols, and counseling clients on data privacy, compliance, and records retention, with a focus on emerging AI regulatory frameworks. The position requires extensive experience in eDiscovery, strong litigation and client counseling skills, and proven expertise with advanced AI tools to manage large, complex data sets—particularly for clients in regulated industries. The ideal candidate will have 7–10+ years of eDiscovery experience, excellent communication skills, and a track record of business development. All candidates must be admitted to the state bar of their preferred office location.

The salary range for this role is $290,000 - $320,000. Actual compensation will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to geographic location, experience, qualifications, market data and internal equity. Total compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, yearly retirement plan contribution, and a comprehensive benefits package.
