The Chattanooga office of Copeland, Stair, Valz & Lovell is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join its team. Primarily, this role would work on general liability, coverage, and transportation matters. This growing office has a collegial atmosphere and presents the opportunity for a motivated litigator to progress quickly. Required Education & Professional Licensure: Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in Tennessee and good standing with the State of TN Bar. Essential Job Requirements: Minimum 5 years as a practicing attorney. Ability to work productively with autonomy as well as with a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability and desire to manage multiple priorities and caseload. Experience handling discovery, preparing pleadings, and preparing motions. Detail-oriented and self-motivated. Preferred skills: Experience in insurance coverage matters. Jury trial experience.
