We are seeking a 2-4 year lawyer with a commercial background and experience in financial regulation and a strong passion for the crypto industry to join our legal team at our fast-growing tech startup. The ideal candidate will be "crypto first" and have a deep understanding of the history, technology, and philosophy behind the crypto industry. This role will involve working across multiple disciplines including corporate, litigation, regulatory, and policy matters, and will require collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide legal guidance and advice on tech-related matters.

<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b> Responsibilities</b></h3>
<ul>
<li> Provide legal guidance and advice on tech-related financial regulation and crypto matters</li>
<li> Conduct legal research and analysis on regulatory and policy issues related to the crypto industry and blockchain technology</li>
<li> Draft and review legal documents and agreements related to corporate, litigation, and regulatory matters, with a focus on tech-related matters</li>
<li> Advise on compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to financial services and crypto, as well as blockchain technology and related areas such as smart contracts and decentralized applications</li>
<li> Work with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and business teams, to provide legal guidance and advice on a wide range of tech-related matters</li>
<li> Represent the company in negotiations and interactions with regulators, policymakers, and industry stakeholders on tech-related matters</li>
<li> Stay up-to-date on legal and regulatory developments related to the crypto industry and blockchain technology, and provide insights and recommendations to the legal team and other stakeholders</li>
</ul>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b> Requirements</b></h3>
<ul>
<li> 2-4 years of experience as a lawyer with a focus on financial regulation or regulatory matters, with a strong understanding of blockchain technology and the crypto industry</li>
<li> U.S. law license required</li>
<li> Excellent drafting and communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex legal and technical concepts to non-legal stakeholders</li>
<li> Familiarity with tech-related litigation and dispute resolution processes related to financial services and crypto matters a plus</li>
<li> Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment</li>
<li> Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical legal advice on tech-related matters</li>
