As a Supervisory Attorney-Advisor (Deputy Enforcement Director for Litigation), you will manage a group of approximately twenty to thirty attorneys and support staff engaged in the enforcement of Federal consumer financial laws and the prosecution of cases through administrative or court action.</p> <p><b> Learn more about this agency</b></p> <div> <h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Responsibilities</b></h4> <p></p> <p>As a Supervisory Attorney-Advisor (Deputy Enforcement Director for Litigation), you will:</p> <ul> <li> Develop, recommend, and implement needed policies, procedures, and guidelines for conducting enforcement functions that support CFPBs enforcement mission, goals and priorities.</li> <li> Lead development and implementation of all necessary policies, procedures, and guidelines for conducting investigations, initiating administrative proceedings, and bringing judicial actions to ensure informed and effective decision-making and efficient operations.</li> <li> Manage a substantial number of attorneys engaged in matters concerning depository and non-depository entities. Lead, motivate, and develop attorneys. Assign attorneys to teams to work on matters pending within the Office of Enforcement.</li> <li> Coordinate with other Bureau components, including CFPB's Research, Markets, Rulemaking, Fair Lending, Supervision, and Consumer Education and Engagement functions to ensure that enforcement activities are carried out to support CFPB's legal authorities and Enforcement Office goals.</li> </ul> <p><b> Travel Required</b></p> <p> Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.</p> <p><b> Promotion potential</b></p> <p> 72</p> <h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b> Supervisory status</b></h5> <p> Yes</p> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> <p></p></div>
