**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS**
Responsibilities include:
* Respond and manage charges of discrimination, wage and hour violations, and other inquiries from administrative agencies,
* Provide advice and counsel to the global human resource organization and management on employment/labor related matters, including understanding and application of company policy and procedures, as well as escalation to appropriate senior department management and other stakeholders, in relation to agency and private employee claims and other employee relations matters (Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA , FLSA and NLRA) and similar global matters;
* Conduct specific research and investigation into employee issues as necessary;
* Propose programs, solutions, and systems to support employee relations policy and strategy;
* Maintain records, prepare reports, and compose correspondence relative to employee relations matters;
* Ensure human resource compliance across organization; and
* Assist with special projects as needed.
**POSITION REQUIREMENTS:**
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree
* 2 -5 years of experience managing employment claims/matters
* Knowledge of laws, regulations, and procedures relative to employee and labor relations matters
* Experience with Microsoft Tools (e.g., Office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
* Juris Doctorate
* Licensed to practice law in Ohio
* Experience handling matters before federal and state agencies responsible for enforcing employment and labor laws
