State & Local Tax Associate | Atlanta, DC or New York | #20503 Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP is seeking an Associate with 2-3 years of Tax experience to join our State and Local Tax practice group in the Atlanta, DC, or NY office locations. We are looking to add a team member with ambition and an individual who enjoys a collaborative work environment. The Associate will join a practice that works with a broad range of Fortune 100 clients and industry leading companies on state and local tax consulting, planning, compliance, litigation, and policy matters. We are looking for exceptional attorneys and we will provide them with the tools and experiences needed to build successful careers. We are seeking attorneys who possess: Two to three years of law firm experience or three to five years of accounting firm experience. Skills and experience related to state and local tax planning, compliance, and legislation and policy, and litigation and controversy matters. Working knowledge of income, franchise, sales and use, excise, and property taxes. Strong academic records and impressive writing and communication abilities. A client-service mindset and the ability to assume immediate responsibility for matters in an active practice. Confidence, self-motivation, and a strong interest in joining our team!
