Description Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a Mid-Level Associate in the Capital Markets Group in New York. Job Requirements Ideal candidates will have 5-6 years of experience in public and private equity offerings, including initial public offerings and follow-on offerings, proxy statements and S-4 registration statements in connection with business combination transactions, interfacing with the SEC and other regulators, and familiarity with the ongoing reporting requirements under the ’34 Act for public companies, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks and proxy statements. Experience in representing both issuers and underwriters would be beneficial. Candidates also should have day-to-day experience counseling public companies, including with respect to corporate governance matters. Candidates should possess a strong academic background, client management skills and drafting and negotiation skills. Candidates must have the skills to retain and grow existing clients and relationships. Candidates also should be admitted to the New York bar. The expected annualized base salary range for this position is $250,000-$295,000. Salary will be determined based upon education, experience, job related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data, including geographic pay differentials in locations where market pay differs from the national average.
