Litigation - Associate

Job Description: Sidley’s San Francisco office is seeking associates with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join the Litigation Group, which offers associates the opportunity to work in a variety of practice areas. Candidates must have exceptional academic credentials, strong research and writing skills, and be admitted to the California bar. The San Francisco Litigation Group is a collegial group that litigates securities and shareholder derivative claims, consumer class actions, and other complex commercial disputes. The group includes a white collar practice that conducts internal investigations and defends companies and individuals in federal and state investigations and related proceedings. Candidates should have experience drafting motions, handling discovery, and analyzing complex factual and legal issues. Salaries may vary by location. In Northern California, the estimated target salary range of this role is $260,000 – $365,000. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to, the relevant market and the skill, experience, class or graduation year, and education of the selected candidate.
