Mid-Level Associate or Senior Level Attorney, Insurance Coverage

Kennedys, recently ranked as a Leading Firm in The Legal 500 US 2021, the guide to outstanding firms and lawyers across the United States, is seeking motivated and self-starting mid-level and senior Associates with at least 2 years’ insurance coverage experience to join its Philadelphia office. Ideal candidates have a strong litigation background with experience drafting pleadings, complex motions, taking and defending depositions, attending court conferences and arguing motions, along with a strong attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience litigating complex commercial insurance coverage disputes is a plus. Opportunities for advancement and independent work available. Competitive salary and benefits offered. Required experience 2+ years litigation experience JD required from an accredited law school Must be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania Licensed to practice in New Jersey and/or New York a plus Superior research, writing and communication skills Organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated Experience with various phases of the litigation process, including drafting pleadings and motions and conducting discovery. Experience taking and defending depositions, arguing motions and trial and/or arbitration experience a plus.
