Government Contracts Associate (3-6 years): Denver

Holland & Hart is seeking an experienced government contracts attorney to join its Denver, Colorado office (other office locations may be considered on a case-by-case basis). We are seeking candidates with 3-6 years of experience with federal government contracts from a top-tier law firm, in-house, or government to join a busy and growing practice group. Position Requirements Candidates must have an outstanding academic record, strong interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated track-record of working in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have a combination of experience in the following areas: (1) working knowledge of the FAR and DFARS (as well as other agency supplements), (2) prosecution and defense of bid protests before the Government Accountability Office and U.S. Court of Federal Claims, (3) litigation of claims under the Contract Disputes Act, (4) internal investigations involving compliance, internal controls, and procurement fraud, and (5) due diligence in support of M&A transactions. We are looking for candidates who are eager to assume immediate responsibility for matters and who are willing to work in a collegial and collaborative team. Compensation and Expectations Holland & Hart’s compensation is merit-based—you’ll be evaluated on your individual performance and achievements. As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Act, Holland & Hart is providing a good faith salary range for this position (if based in Colorado): $190,000 - $240,000. Our generous bonus program rewards financial contributions and hard work and associates are also eligible for fee splits. Holland & Hart expects associates to invest 1800 hours on billable matters, 75 hours of pro bono/public service work (or 50 hours of pro bono legal work), including at least 25 hours dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
