The Cleveland office of Fisher Phillips, an international management side labor and employment law firm, seeks an associate with 4-7 years of employment litigation experience for a litigation defense role, including drafting and responding to pleadings, managing discovery, drafting and arguing motions, as well as taking and defending depositions and participating in mediations and trials. In addition to a busy litigation docket, you will work with and counsel clients on various day-to-day employment law challenges, drafting/revising handbooks and policies, manager training, and similar activities. This means we are looking for attorneys with excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, commitment to and empathy for their fellow team members, and a relentless commitment to personal growth and client service.
