<div id="jobDescriptionText" class="jobsearch-jobDescriptionText"><div> Provides a full range of legal advice and services. <div></div> <div> Associate General Counsel <br> Nasdaq's award-winning legal group, which employs over 50 lawyers in offices in the U.S. and Europe, has a rare opportunity for an experienced, business-minded transactional lawyer to work as an Associate General Counsel in our Office of General Counsel. You will provide legal advice to Nasdaq’s business and expert functions on a variety of commercial and strategic matters. The role will work closely with our Corporate Platforms business unit. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a global leader in financial services and financial technology, guiding clients in an industry that helps us craft the global economy and rewrite tomorrow. </div> <div></div> <div> We Are Looking For The Following Skills And Experience: </div> <ul> <li> A J.D. with outstanding academic credentials who is an active member in good standing of at least one state bar.</li> <li> Provide legal support and guidance to Nasdaq’s Corporate Platforms business unit and global sales team.</li> <li> Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating reseller, referral, distributor and other commercial contracts.</li> <li> Experience advising sales, product, marketing and business teams on a full range of commercial, intellectual property and data privacy issues.</li> <li> Provide full product life-cycle counseling and strategic direction for global products with a focus on ESG, Governance and Investor Relations solutions</li> <li> Provide legal advice on a broad range of commercial and corporate related matters and projects, both in the US and globally.</li> </ul> <div> Additional Qualifications </div> <ul> <li> 5-10 years experience as a transactional attorney</li> <li> Outstanding communication, collaboration skills and attention to detail</li> <li> Desire and ability to work as part of a team</li> <li> Ability to think strategically and desire to establish a trusted advisor relationship with internal clients</li> <li> Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize workflow with minimal supervision</li> <li> Strong results orientation and customer focus</li> </ul> <div></div> <div> Come as You Are </div> <div></div> <div> Nasdaq is an equal opportunity employer.
