<div id="jobDescriptionText" class="jobsearch-jobDescriptionText" dir="ltr"><div> <div> Aledade seeks an experienced health care attorney to provide advice and support on a wide range of legal and business matters, with a focus on the Company’s growth opportunities and commercial operations. The <b>Senior Counsel</b> will be responsible for providing regulatory guidance on a variety of matters, including payor and provider relationships, and also supporting the Compliance Team. They will also be required to assist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various strategic agreements entered into between Aledade and its network of independent physicians as well as agreements between Aledade and third party IPAs or various associations, working together with the business and other members of the Legal Team to increase participation in Aledade’s accountable care organizations while promoting value based care. The Senior Counsel must be able to identify various regulatory issues, with a focus on the Anti-Kickback Statute and develop compliant solutions to facilitate Aledade’s business objectives. This attorney must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and working closely with Senior Leadership on such strategic arrangements and all related corporate legal matters. The Senior Counsel will have a multi-faceted role spanning support for the outreach and growth team and critical business partnerships. </div> <h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b> Day-to-Day Responsibilities:</b></h3> <ul> <li> Provide regulatory and strategic guidance to internal clients, particularly the Growth, Business Development, and Compliance Teams.</li> <li> Work closely with growth-team leaders to help issue spot, anticipate, develop, structure, draft, negotiate and review complex strategic agreements in connection with provider contracting.</li> <li> Create, streamline and improve existing and new template agreements in connection with such provider contracting.</li> <li> Create, improve, and implement internal processes and procedures and guide teams in standardizing such contracts.</li> <li> Respond to legal requests on topics related to Aledade’s participation in such strategic arrangements and provide guidance as a subject matter expert.</li> <li> Handle additional assignments and responsibilities as needed.</li> </ul> <h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b> Qualifications &amp; Skills:</b></h3> <ul> <li> J.D. degree and membership in at least one state bar.</li> <li> 10+ years prior experience in a business-oriented law firm or in-house legal department.</li> <li> Significant and relevant health care regulatory knowledge focussing on Fraud, Waste, and Abuse.</li> <li> Significant contract drafting and negotiation skills. Ideal candidates will have experience with customized and/or bespoke agreements.</li> <li> Experience with provider-facing healthcare companies or health plans.</li> <li> Strong written, communication, and research skills.</li> <li> Interacts with others in a positive, respectful, and considerate manner.
